The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) will host its inaugural Women and Public Policy Week March 5-9, 2018.
Women and Public Policy Week will bring together the voices and expertise of UNO faculty, staff, students, community partners and policymakers to discuss issues related to women and public policy across the city, state, nation and world.
The League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha encourages attendance at all events, but especially the Omaha Table Talk on “how to engage in the policy process as an advocate, policymaker, lobbyist or volunteer.” LWVGO is a co-sponsor of this event and Vice President Rebecca Armstrong Langle will be on the panel. The table talk takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, March 5 at Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center (CEC).
